What is Smoothcomp
Smoothcomp is a tournament system for Judo and other martial arts. As an athlete (or coach), you can register for a tournament and then get all the necessary information on the day of the tournament. Eg draw, which tatami will the match(s) take place and at what time.
The Norwegian Judo Federation will use Smoothcomp as a tournament system for the Nordic Judo Championship in 2023.
Necessary setup in Smoothcomp - All federations!
In Nordic Championship, all athletes represent their nation. The federation in the various countries must therefore create their countries in Smoothcomp (called Academy). The athletes need to connected to this Academy before the federation makes the registration to Nordic Championshop 2023.
Name system:
Norway = Judo Norway
Sweden = Judo Sweden
Denmark = Judo Denmark
and so on.
1. Create a profile
The person in the federation, who will organize registration must create a profile.
Create a profile here: Smoothcomp.com
2. Create academy = Judo [country name]
Once you have a profile, then you can create the Academy = Judo [country name].

TIPS:
a) It's possible to setup several managers under the academy.
b) Set up "Member approval". Then you will have total control over the members (athletes).
